The Lordship of Jesus Christ |
|
| The gospel John chapter 13 verse 13 says "Ye
called me master and Lord and ye say well, for so I am." The word Lord is tied to most important scriptures concerning Jesus Christ. The word Lord as used in Scripture means absolute ruler, boss, King of your life. He (The Word of God) has the right to rule every decision you make. The scriptures seem to teach that an individual has the right and is invited to taste of the benefits of salvation. Tasting implies the right to reject, or to change one's mind. On the other hand full eternal salvation is based upon accepting Jesus Christ as Lord. This decision is not to be made lightly. Taste if you must, but be quick to acknowledge him as complete Lord of all that you are and have. |
