Chapter 1, introduction, eternity past to John's Day. Chapters 2 and 3, letters to the seven churches, history of the church on earth, from John to the start of the Tribulation. Chapter 4, the next big event -- the Rapture of the church. Chapter 5, after the Rapture and before that the Tribulation. Note: the Rapture will remove from the earth the most productive and knowledgeable people, and that may be the cause of some judgments and cause some of the hostility towards God, Christ and his people. Chapter 6. First seal, before and early first 3 1/2 years of the Tribulation. 2nd seal, before and early first 3 1/2 years of the Tribulation. 3rd seal, before and mid first 3 1/2 years of the Tribulation. 4th seal, before and mid first 3 1/2 years of the Tribulation. 5th seal, entire period, but the focus is early in the Tribulation. 6th seal, late in the first 3 1/2 years. Note: All of these events are probably the result of man's actions early in the Tribulation as the Antichrist rises to power and solidifies his position. Chapter 7. The sealing of 144,000 Jews, early in the first 3 1/2 years, probably between the 1st and 2nd seals. Chapter 8. The 7th Seal, which contains the 7 trumpets. The judgments contained in the 7 trumpets are caused by the actions of the antichrist. The 1st trumpet, late in the 1st 3 1/2 years. The 2nd trumpet, late in the 1st 3 1/2 years. The 3rd trumpet, late in the 1st 3 1/2 years. The 4th trumpet, late in the 1st 3 1/2 years . Note: At this time the earth may begin to move into a closer orbit around the sun and the days may be shortened by a speed up of its rotation. Chapter 9. The 5th trumpet, last part of the first 3 1/2 years and beginning of the 2nd 3 1/2 years. The 6th trumpet, last part of the first 3 1/2 years and the beginning of 2nd 3 1/2 years. Chapter 10. Probably mid tribulation, 60 days either way. Key is verse 7. Chapter 11.Verses 1 through 14 appear to be from sometime in the first 3 1/2 years up to the middle of the tribulation. From verse 15 goes on to the end of the tribulation and reveals the 7th trumpet which contains the 7 vials of God's judgment. Chapter 12. Verses 1 through 5, 2000 years ago. Verses six through 17, from the middle to the end of the tribulation. Chapter 13. Mid tribulation on. Note: The Antichrist now has what appears to be total control. He has destroyed the 1st great false religion and established himself in the Temple of the Jews in Jerusalem as God. Chapter 14 verses 1 through 13, late mid tribulation and on. Verses 14 through 20, at the end of the tribulation. Chapter 15. This chapter is preparing for the 7 vials of God's wrath which are in the next chapter. Chapter 16. This chapter relates the vial for us to the judgments of God's wrath. Chapter 17. Early 1st 3 1/2 years to the end of the 1st 3 1/2 years. Chapter 18. Last part of the 2nd 3 1/2 years. Chapter 19. The 2nd 3 1/2 years (in heaven). Chapter 20. From the end of the tribulation to the end of the millennium. Chapters 21 and 22. From the end of the millennium into eternity . Note:. You will find that this order of events will match up with what Jesus gives in Matthew chapter 24, Mark chapter 13, and Luke chapter 21. It also blends well with most conservative interpretations of the book of Daniel. Tribulation |
